Stream with Moblin and IRL Pro
For smartphone streaming you can use SRT, SRTLA and optionally RTMP/RTMPS. The panel provides ready-to-copy URLs – plus one-tap buttons that create the stream in IRL Pro or Moblin without typing.
IRL Pro (Android)
- Open the panel and use “Open in IRL Pro” – the stream is added in the app. Alternatively: copy SRT/SRTLA URL and stream key manually.
- Protocol: SRT (single connection) or SRTLA (bonding).
- For SRTLA: enable bonding (e.g. LTE + Wi‑Fi).
- Start the stream and check status in the panel.
Moblin (iOS / iPhone)
- Open the panel and use “Open in Moblin” – or enter URL and key manually.
- Protocol: SRT or SRTLA.
- For SRTLA, under Bonding add further interfaces (Wi‑Fi + mobile data).
- Start the stream.
SRT vs. SRTLA
- SRT – stable single connection, simple to configure.
- SRTLA – bonds multiple connections for more stability on the go. Deep dive: SRTLA bonding.
RTMP on mobile: Some apps can also send RTMP/RTMPS to the relay. For IRL on the move, SRTLA is usually the better choice.
Common pitfalls
- Wrong stream type in the panel (RTMP instead of SRT) – URL and protocol must match
- Truncated key or extra spaces when pasting manually
- Bonding without a second active interface – SRTLA then behaves like a single link
- Buffer too low on a poor network – see best practices
